Certain monster immunities

Actually its pretty dull to use monster debuffs atm (for example, from Shadow magic) cause most of mid-high lvl monsters aren't affected at it.

It would be fun to make flags such as NO_FEAR, NO_CONF, NO_SLEEP & etc work at 15% of spell effect (for bosses at 5%?). Then it would be at least some sence of using such spells.

For example, you trying to put to sleep 'Novice mindcrafter'. He got no_sleep flag, so it doesn't work at him at all. It would be fun to make him move erratically for 1-2 turns after you cast this spell or make just _any_ other reaction. It could be very tiny, but still useful a bit.

It would make players use certain 'forgotten' magic...

Poison for rogue

Add poison potions and mushrooms @ 7 shop, so rogue class would be able to buy this ingredients for his skill.

Char_clear problem with graphic tileset

With graphic tileset its very hard to see CHAR_CLEAR ego monsters cause they look like blank space. When all floors was like dots, it was very easy to spot it, but now, when they look different, its pretty hard:

(at the picture scale increased 2x.. imagine it in smaller size - it wouldn't be visible at all).

It would be awesome to give char_clear different appearence. It could be flickering dot (like 'Colour out of space' got right now) - but flickering from white to grey (not too annoying).

Possibility to turn off not important messages

Add option possibility to turn off not important messages (AFK, lvl gain & etc)

Already /rfe'ed it, but maybe its not understandable. Example, how looks my messages window if I stay in Bree for a while:

make short bows useful

I like bows very much, but now long bow doesn't have alternatives. Lets longbows would make more dmg and more distance, but shortbow would have extra shot.

Shields... and crossbows..

Right now shield a bit.. useless :) For warriors and others melee chars especially. Second weapons is much better thing to equip. May be shields deserve some buff? Also I've noticed that crossbows not in a favor too - they are less popular than bows...

So I thought - lets make something which make this two types of weapons more useful, but do not buff it too much: let it would be possible to use crossbows without penalty with shield. Lets leave bows as it is with shields, but crossbows its kinda good, right weapon for shield.

With this we would leave balance almost untoched, but make this two types of equipment more popular.
another thing about shields... currently they are not so popular compared to possibility to use duals. The only reason to use shield is to have good 1.5-h weapon. Maybe add small chance (5%?) to stun enemy if you fighting with shield?
Some more brainstorming about shields... What's about...

'shielding' skill

...Or call it 'Blocking' or 'Parry'? Shielding skill could increase chance to block attack, for example, up to 50% at 50 skill. It would be fun to have possibilities to go into defencive build, to use shields :D
